About Mackie
I became a financial planner because I know what it costs when there is no plan. Personally. Financially. And for the people left behind.
I’m Mackie Chaudhry, Founder and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® at Soluna Wealth Planning.
I built this firm for women who are carrying a lot and deserve someone truly in their corner. Women who are successful by every measure and still quietly wonder if they are doing enough to protect what they have built.
I know that feeling well. It's why I care deeply about helping you protect what you've built.
Why I Do This Work
Losing my dad at 15 changed the trajectory of my life. He worked tirelessly to provide for our family, building a business, buying a home, creating the kind of life any father would be proud of. But without a plan, no trust, no life insurance, everything he built was gone almost overnight.
The hardest part wasn’t just losing what he created. It was realizing that years of sacrifice can disappear overnight without the right protections in place. That truth stayed with me.
Years later, I watched history repeat itself when my older brother passed unexpectedly. Like my dad, he had built a business and a beautiful life for his family. And like my dad, without a plan, everything he worked for was left unprotected.
Those two losses made one thing crystal clear: no amount of love or hard work can replace preparation.
As I got older, life tested me in new ways. By my early twenties, I was a mom, a homeowner, and running a seven-figure business, juggling responsibilities that felt far bigger than me. On the outside, people saw strength and success. Behind the scenes, I was piecing it all together with grit and prayer, wishing someone would hand me a roadmap.
That’s exactly what I see in the women I serve today.
Successful high-achieving women who lead, provide, and carry so much, yet quietly wonder if they are truly protected and prepared for what’s ahead. They’ve built careers, supported families, and achieved so much. But still question whether their financial life actually reflects everything they have worked so hard for.
Those experiences are why I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. And they are why, every single day, I show up for my clients the way I wish someone had shown up for my family.
Because I’ve seen what happens without a plan. And I know how powerful it is when someone finally says: you do not have to carry this alone.
My background
I have spent nearly a decade serving clients across the Bay Area and nationwide, providing relationship-centered financial planning rooted in real life experience.
My path includes building a successful practice at Edward Jones where I became a Limited Partner, completing the rigorous CFP® certification curriculum, and founding Soluna Wealth Planning in 2025 to serve women business owners with a modern, advice-first approach.
I bring techincal expertise, genuine care, and deep personal understanding to every client relationship.
Professional Involvement
I am proud to be active in organizations that keep me connected, current, and committed to my community, including the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council, the Financial Planning Association of East Bay, and the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce.
I previously volunteered with Mental Health America’s warm line and continue to support local charitable efforts that help families and children in need. Showing up for people during hard moments has always been at the core of who I am.
Beyond the Office
When I am not working with clients you will find me spending time with my family, exploring local trails, and enjoying the small everyday moments that bring balance and perspective.
My life, like yours, is full and meaningful. That is exactly why I believe our financial plans should support the lives we are building, not add stress to them.
